Vermont 200k – May 6th

Epilogue: Thanks to the 33 people who started the ride, a record turn out for a VT event. The weather started bad and got worse for a while: Downpours and high winds for the first four hours or so. But as predicted, the rain stopped and the sun even came out as the temps climbed into the comfortable mid-60s. Riders were treated to a super tailwind heading north but paid for the push with a considerable headwind for the remaining 20 miles. (Still a new gain from the heavens.) Reports from the field were all positive and we greatly thank Dave Cain for hosting the event.

Vermont now takes a few weeks off with the 300k from Montpellier scheduled for July 8th.
