August 11th – Classic Overnight 200k: It
was a very wet but enjoyable evening. Thanks to the 12 riders who faced the rain. Only one DNF which was the result of a mechanical failure. Thanks to ride leader Sarah for organizing and Ride Studio Cafe for their hospitality.
August 18th – Newport 300k: New Event! The route leaves from Wellesley, MA and heads down though Southern MA and into Rhode Island where riders will hug the bay. After passing the famous Newport mansions, you’ll head back into Massachusetts and northeast to Plymouth before returning to Wellesley. This ride is also our RUSA 20th anniversary celebration and all riders will receive a commemorative patch and pin to mark the occasion. Route updated August 13th (RWGPS Link).
