May is a busy month with an event almost every weekend:
May 7th: Vermont Green Mountain 200k – Great ride all around. We had 26 riders start, 24 finish. Thanks for everyone who came out.
May 13-15: Portland Fleche & Dart! Six teams have signed up for this team event which lets riders pick their own route to Portland. On Sunday, May 15th there will be a Sunday Brunch @ 10am at The Kings Head which is open to non-riders as well. Many find this to be the most fun event of the year.
May 15: Deadline to book a hotel room at the Woburn Holiday Inn Express with the discounted NER rate for the MA 400k (And Woburn to Portland 200k) held on June 18th. More details here.
May 21st: Sunderland 300k & “Tweeto’s Revenge” 200k. – This is the annual NER Massachusetts 300k which leaves from Hanscom at 6am and heads along a Northwest route to Ashburnham and Northfield before returning via Sunderland and Petersham. The 200k leaves at 9am and shortcuts the Northfield and Sunderland controls.
Water Bottles: If you Joined NER this spring your NER water bottles will be mailed in the next few weeks. You can join NER all year to save $ on rides, receive a free bottle, and support our events. (Additional bottles are for sale for $5)
